The Children’s Shopping Spree is an event in which we take under-privileged children shopping for new school clothes. Each child is allotted $100 (donated by friends and businesses like you) and assisted by an Active 20-30 member to select and purchase items for the coming school year. We are planning on assisting 60 children, from grades K-8, whose names will be provided by the Family Support Council of Douglas County and Austin’s House.

The event is to be held Saturday, August 1, 2009, at our local Wal-Mart. We are asking that you assist us financially by partnering with the local Active 20-30 Club for this annual Children’s Shopping Spree.
